Can you send us a price sheet for bulk wholesale purchase?

To join our bulk wholesale network and get access to pricing/requests, please email wholesale@hamiltonsmushrooms.com with your company name, contact name, email, and phone number and put “New Bulk Wholesale” in the subject line.


Once approved, our wholesale website includes prices for all of our most popular bulk offerings. For specialty mushrooms in bulk, we have an online custom quote request form.

Do you offer a referral program for selling or referring Hamilton’s Mushrooms in our store/shop/website/blog?

Can I pay via check or ACH transfer?

Can you help us formulate the perfect blend for our ________ products?

Yes, we can help with custom formulations.  We offer consulting on an hourly basis, and often provide complimentary consultations for larger orders.

What mushrooms do you recommend for a coffee line?

Lion’s Mane and Chaga are very popular in coffee. However, other mushrooms and flavor profiles can distinguish your brand. Email us at wholesale@hamiltonsmushrooms.com to discuss options in detail.

Are the 1:1 extracts suitable for powdered drinks?

The 1:1 blends are about 50-60% soluble. They might leave some residue in the bottom of a cup if just mixed with water, but they are fine for use in smoothies or other drink mixes where complete dissolution is not critical.  For full solubility we recommend the 30% beta-glucan extracts.


What is the solubility of the extracts for gummy products?

For gummy products, use extracts with high solubility. The 30% beta glucan extracts are ideal as they will ensure consistent distribution of active ingredients. Potency and solubility are critical for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of gummy products.

Are your bulk extracts 100% fruiting body?

The majority of our bulk extracts are all either pure powdered fruiting bodies or fruit body extracts, however for specific strains we do offer select mycelium extracts.=. All mycelium extracts will be clearly labeled as such.  Please email wholesale@hamiltonsmushrooms.com if you are unsure.

Do you offer organic or conventional bulk mushrooms/extracts?


We primarily offer organic bulk mushrooms/extracts, however we can supply conventional mushrooms/extracts upon request.  Conventional products are generally 15-20% cheaper.

Which lion's mane extract should we use in our formulation?

It depends on which fraction you want. Hot-water extraction concentrates beta-glucans and is fully soluble, which makes it the workhorse for powders, beverages and anything that has to dissolve cleanly. Alcohol extraction pulls the alcohol-soluble fraction instead. Some brands use both in a dual extract to carry the full profile.

We recommend fruit body material throughout. It is what most buyers specify, and it avoids the substrate questions that come with mycelium-grown material. Send us your target spec and we will tell you what we can supply and at what concentration.

What substrates are used?


Substrates vary by species; exact substrate lists can be provided upon request.

Do your extracts contain maltodextrin or other fillers? 

Only extracts listed as containing maltodextrin have it.  We do not use any other fillers.

Are your extracts water-only if not specified as alcohol-extracted?

Yes, anything not specified as alcohol-extracted is water-extracted.

What is the beta-glucan content of your 1:1 blends?

The beta glucan content of the 1:1 blend is in the 10-20% range. All percentages represent minimum amounts and generally test higher.

What are the solubility specifications for your mushroom extracts?

For 100% solubility, we recommend using the 30% beta glucan options. These are pure and completely soluble. If you need the more volatile compounds included, like terpenes, you might opt for a blend that includes alcohol extracts, which are around 80% soluble.
